Forged By The Word of God

The vitality of our congregation is very much related to how we remain faithful to our charism and mission and live them meaningfully in our times. Our constitutions clearly state that “the ministry of the word, though which we communicate the total mystery of Christ to humanity, is our special calling in the Church” (CC 46). The Word of God is at the core of our vocational story both as a congregation and as individual persons invited to embrace the Claretian vocation. It is the Word of God that has inspired, nurtured and protected the vocation of St. Anthony Claret and shaped him into a great apostolic missionary in the 19th Century. Following the footsteps of our founder, we too find the Word of God as the source of our missionary vitality.
