My Yoke Is Easy My Burden Is Light

This book is a brief account of the author's walk with the Lord Jesus, wherein he learnt to accept his cross. He presents different aspects of and insights into it. Because the cross undoubtedly brings some suffering, we often summarily reject it and lose sight of the fact that there is something beautiful lying ahead - the divine effusion of the Holy Spirit for us. A wonderful secret is that when we are resolved to bear the cross, the Lord makes it easy for us in accordance with His promise: "My yoke is easy, my burden is light." Although it may seem counter-intuitive, a simple faith can accomplish the great act of accepting it. The way of the cross is perhaps the only way to complete restoration of health and mirth; making it a way of life is great blessedness.
