The FABC Office of Evangelization, conscious of the enormous strides made especially over the past 40 years in each of our Asian countries, acknowledges that “deep inculturation” where faith becomes culture and culture is ensouled by faith in lifestyle, social ethics and much more is the crucial task ahead and is “the pressing need” (EA 20h).
This rich material is for the benefit of the People of God in Asia and to help us fulfill our obligation to proclaim Christ and the Good News of Salvation in a way people will understand and feel comfortable with accepting the message as their own. Implementing inculturation properly will touch the souls of local people and become evangelizing stepping stones in the third millennium.
