Barbara Fiand asks questions and raises issues often ignored and long overdue: celibacy and the meaning of intimacy, what membership means and how it can be expanded, the welcoming of diversity, the need of feminine for wholeness and health, the fear of death and denial of new life. Sr. Barbara’s honest, loving new work has been eagerly awaited by women and men religious everywhere. Barbara Fiand, SNDdeN, is a professor of Philosophical Theology and Spirituality at the Athanaeum of Ohio. She has also authored Embraced by Compassion, Where Two or Three Are Gathered, Living the Vision, and Releasement.
